The little critters might look like squirrels, but they are actually siksiks! Siksik, also known as arctic ground squirrels are native to the arctic where I call home. They hibernate over winter and we only see them in summer, if we are lucky!

Siksik socks is a matching project for siksik jumper.

They are knitted top-down and in the round, featuring a stranded colourwork motif throughout. The heels are knitted using the afterthought heel technique. You can choose to “mismatch” your socks as shown in the photos or knit two identical socks. It includes sizes for teens and adults.
